Ministries, Outreach
We're here to reach the greater Ball Ground community with the life-changing message of salvation.
We're here to equip an environment for you to receive His message so you can go out and do work of the ministry.
We're here to assemble a place for worship, prayer, and Christian fellowship.
We're here to launch believers into active ministry -- from our front doors, to the community, and out into the world.

Reverend Leah Farster
Pastor Leah grew up in Roswell GA, where her father was the local Ford dealer. Joining the Navy after graduating from a Christian high school, she met Jeff and they married in 1981. After four years, she left the Navy and had two children, James and Robert. Leah was a stay-at-home mom who home schooled their boys. Some years later she and her husband Jeff opened a school in Canton, GA for home-schooled children. Upon selling the school, Leah began work in the insurance business, now going on 20 years.
After having a life-changing revelation of the cross, Leah sought Ordination through the Church of God (Cleveland TN). She serves as Children’s Church Pastor and Praise Team Singer, along with her Pastor husband Jeff. Leah sends out frequent devotions via text. To receive the devotions, text your number to 770-337-2812 and say, “Include me”

Pastor Jeff Farster

Pastor Jeff grew up in Northern Illinois on a farm. He has delightful stories to tell concerning his days on the farm and relating it to the Lord. Jeff joined the Navy as a young man and, through a civil-service worker and friend, was introduced to the Lord through the Alberto Series, published by Chic Publications. Having grown up Lutheran and then converting to Catholicism as a teen ager and studying to be a priest, the Alberto Series spoke to his heart.
Attending an Assembly of God Church, with this same friend, in exchange for a home-cooked meal, he heard the salvation message for the first time and gave his heart to the Lord.
Jeff attended Trinity College in Illinois married Leah Vaughan Farster, a co-worker in the Navy. They have two children, James and Robert whom are integral parts of the church.
Having attended a Church of God for many years, the message of the cross and the freedom that comes with it changed his life, and he is excited to share the supernatural life-changing power of Jesus Christ and the cross.
William "Will" R. Moore III
Associate Pastor Will has been happily married to his wife Melody for 10 years, and together they have three children. They met as teenagers in coastal Georgia. He has served as Senior Pastor at three churches prior to God calling him and his family to Freedom’s Light. As a former officer employed with the Glynn County Sheriff’s office, Will saw firsthand the need for biblical-based criminal justice reform. He is now a Justice Ambassador with Prison Fellowship.
Pastor Will is also a strong advocate for the sanctity of life, volunteering for several opportunities within the life movement. He earned a Bachelor of Religious Studies and is soon to graduate with his Master of Chaplaincy. He is also a certified Christian counselor with United National Church. Pastor Will looks to continue living a life of service and support to the kingdom of God.
