He Hears
And the Lord heard the voice of your words, and was angry, and swore, saying…..
What words did He hear in Deuteronomy 1:34?
“Because the Lord hated us, He has brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites (the giants), to destroy us.”
God had been present with them in tangible ways daily, but they still rejected Him. He supplied their every need, and still they despised Him. They had absolutely no cause for unbelief.
And the LORD heard the voice of your words, and was angry, and swore, saying, Surely there shall not one of these men if this evil generation see that good land, which I swore to give unto your fathers.
What’s your excuse?
