We've all heard the shortest verse iin the Bible is John 11:35, "Jesus Wept", but in the original Greek in which the New Testament was written, the shortest verse is actually 1 Thess 5:16, "Rejoice Always".
Not a coincidence! Jesus promises to turn our weeping into rejoicing if we faint not.
Aware that they wanted to question Him, Jesus said to them, "Are you asking one another why I said, "in a little while you will not see Me, and then after a little while you will see Me'? Truly, truly, I tell you, you will weep and wail while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. John 16:19-30
If you are suffering with depression, get in the Word. Come or tune into Freedoms Light Church where you will hear the Word and meet strong Spirit filled believers who will walk with you on a journey to healing. He wants to turn your sorrow into joy!
